Donate a Book

“Spread out hands to help and make this world worth living for everyone.” A soulful pea of Sounds of Silence foundation for the people to take a pace further and help the deaf and mute students by donating unused phones and books. An endeavour to equalise them with the world and developing them in the technological field. Through phones we train them to compete with the world so that there is no difference between them and the world.

Making them aware of the updated technologies like 3G and Skype would help them grow in this world. This step would even help them individualise their identity in the corporate field. Take initiative in helping these students and be the part of the change. As they say to make a change you have to be part of it.

Your old unused phones and our efforts can be combined to give a voice to the hearing impaired. Together we can empower them in their battle against silence and help them express themselves. Your old phones might not be useful to you, but surely can come to their use.

Our inspiration is our founder Mr Sumit Singh Gandhi, while interacting with the people from the NGO in the daily commute vans he happened to meet another 25 year enthusiast like us, but as he was deaf and mute so he could not interact. Sumit being a keen enthusiast in conversing and interacting with others came up with the idea of writing a text and showing it to him. This lead to an engrossed conversations of more than an hour which took place daily.
